Glen Donelson – President / CEO
Mr. Donelson was employed at DuPont Chemicals for more than 37 years. He spent the last 20 years there in Management and Human Resources.
In addition, he has been President / CEO of the Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center since 2000.
While at DuPont, Mr. Donelson co-founded the Educators and DuPont Partners in Science program in 1989. This is a partnership with DuPont and the educational community in Salem County. In 1989, Mr. Donelson received the Outstanding Volunteer Award in the business category from the National Association of Partners in Education (NAPE), Arlington, Va., selected from 16,000 business volunteer nominations submitted. Mr. Donelson was nominated for this award by the Penns Grove/Carneys Point Regional School District.
Currently, Mr. Donelson is Co-Chair of Board A of the Child Placement Review Board in Salem County (Vicinage XV Judiciary); member of the Cumberland/Salem Workforce Investment Board (WIB); and a member of the Pennsville Township Planning Board.
Mr. Donelson is a graduate of Rowan University. He served in the New Jersey National Guard and was honorably discharged as an E-6 Staff Sergeant.
Ben Wood – Senior VP of Planning and Development
Mr. Wood is responsible for program design, evaluation, and resource development at Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center.
Mr. Wood retired from Cornell University after 32 years of service. His work there focused on education, workforce development, and youth development. Mr. Wood has degrees from Cornell University, University of Delaware, and course work from Harvard University.
Mr. Wood was involved in developing Youth Apprenticeship, School to Careers, and Workforce Investment Act legislature. He was a consultant in forming the National Center for Workforce Development in Washington, DC. During his tenure at Cornell, he was involved in developing several cutting-edge programs involving curriculum and programs.
Mr. Wood has been a workforce consultant to several well-known businesses including Honda-North America, Ford Motor Company, Rubbermaid, Monsanto, Ralston Purina, and others. He has also worked extensively with several major institutions in the food, hospitality, health care, and manufacturing sectors. Mr. Wood has international experience in youth apprenticeship programs in Europe, and implemented one of the first youth apprentice programs in the United States as part of a Cornell University research project. Mr. Wood works closely with many universities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Mr. Wood has extensive grant writing experience and has raised over $20 million during his career for various programs. Currently, he writes grants and contracts for the MASCEC.
Mr. Wood works extensively in mentoring, workforce development, and youth development program development at MASCEC and his own consulting firm, Wood Associates. Mr. Wood is currently designing and implementing Green Energy Job Training Programs for youth and adults in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Jeff Truax – VP of Projects and Media
Mr. Truax serves as Vice President of Projects and Media for Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center. With more than 25 years of hands-on experience and extensive knowledge in the construction field, he has been a member of the International Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Union.
In 2005, Mr. Truax was the recipient of the Golden Trowel Award for his theme work, replanning and constructing the Tropicana Resort Hotel and Casino for the Quarter Expansion Project. Throughout the years, he worked closely with the Casino Re-development Association (CRDA) facilitating renovations and rebuilding casinos in Atlantic City. In addition, he constructed both commercial facilities and residential establishments throughout Atlantic County and the surrounding region.
Currently, Mr. Truax is overseeing and completing renovations for enhancement use on multiple projects, as well as organizing future projects for MASCEC. As a National Certified Fork Lift Trainer, Mr. Truax uses his experience to train others. Aside from being the Vice President of Projects, he has assumed the responsibility of all media and website projects.
David Zeck – VP of Operations
Mr. Zeck serves as Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center’s Vice President of Operations and manages the Parolee Employment Placement Program (PEPP) for New Jersey’s 10 southern counties. His extensive experience in management – particularly in the industrial field – enables him to bring much first-hand knowledge to the clients in the program.
Mr. Zeck graduated from Rowan University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Management, and continued his education at Penn State University. He was employed by Southco, Inc., in Concordville, Pa., for 24 years as a production manager before his employment at Sony, Inc., in Pitman, N.J. He continues to be a National Certified Forklift Instructor for MASCEC
He is also very active in his community and was elected to three terms on the Upper Pittsgrove School Board. He is a member of the Elmer United Methodist Church, currently serves as president of the Board of Trustees. He also served as a Sunday school teacher and youth leader in church.
Since 2015, Mr. Zeck has been an elected official to the township committee of Upper Pittsgrove and is currently serving as Deputy Mayor. He has served as president and treasurer of the Board of Directors of the ARC of Salem County for most of his 17 years there.
He is a former Cub Scout leader and girls softball coach with Elmer Little League. He enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, and vacationing at the Jersey Shore with his family.
Melinda Williams – Administrative Assistant / Statewide Respite Care Program Coordinator
Administrative Assistant Melinda Williams has a history of helping people.
Prior to her arrival at MASCEC, Mrs. Williams was assistant executive director of Salem County Improvement Authority where she was responsible for the $6.5 million budget, day-to-day operations, permit compliance and more than 20 employees. She also served as recycling coordinator, household hazardous waste coordinator, and the Clean Communities Coordinator.
After her retirement in 2018, Mrs. Williams volunteered as a state health insurance program counselor which involved working with seniors regarding their benefits and choices.
At MASCEC, she was hired as Statewide Respite Care Program Coordinator. She quickly took on more roles including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and keeping track of all grants applied to by MASCEC.
In her spare time, Mrs. Williams enjoys sewing, gardening, and crafting. She propagates Hostas and shares them when divided, and creates wreaths and arrangements with dried and artificial flowers.
“I love to fly and take free trips across the country to see family every year,” she said, noting she has a credit card with frequent flyer miles. “I couldn’t go during COVID so I’m about due for a trip.”
Lani Allen-Davis – Program Director – Pathway Home 3 Grant
Ms. Allen-Davis is the Program Coordinator for High School Equivalency Test Preparation and proctor of the High School Equivalency Test exam. She is Program Coordinator for the Congregate Nutrition Program for Seniors, and she is a food safety instructor and tester for the ServSafe Program.
Ms. Allen-Davis also assists clients and handles billing for the Supported Employment program.
In an administrative role, Ms. Allen-Davis assists with several billings.
Prior to coming to MASCEC, she worked in the banking industry for 25 years. She has an extensive volunteer background of 30-plus years in community service and community outreach in low-income communities and with the homeless population.
She takes pride in helping people in hers and the surrounding communities.

Walter Donelson – Supported Employment Training Specialist/Operations Manager/Expungement Specialist
Mr. Donelson is a training specialist for the Supported Employment Program, Operations Manager, and Expungement Specialist here at MASCEC.
In his role as a Supportive Employment training specialist, he assists clients with psychiatric diagnoses obtain and maintain employment. Once the individual has secured a position, Mr. Donelson continues to support that person throughout their work experience.
Additionally, as an Expungement Specialist, Mr. Donelson has been able to assist our clientele in all walks of life in overcoming difficulties that come along with certain criminal violations, which is a major barrier to meaningful employment opportunities. This has allowed many clients to obtain and successfully maintain employment opportunities that prior to our programs may have been out of reach.
Prior to joining the team, Walter has a diverse range of experience as a Police Officer, a Teamster, and Collections and Audit Risk Process Control Manager in the banking industry. It is these experiences that allowed him to prepare for his roles, as he was able to become extremely involved in community safety and assistance programs, that helped inspire that team work, as well as, the can-do attitude that can best describe his approach to serving our clients, as well as, develop and hone customer service skills, while embracing team Lead and team training experience. Also conducting over five hundred interviews to bring in the most qualified candidates to join respective teams.
Walter has always felt the calling to help and assist others in realizing and obtaining their life and employment goals. He truly enjoys the professional relationships that he has built with his clients to assist them in becoming the very best versions of themselves.
In his down time, Mr. Donelson enjoys his consummate search for the world’s most insatiable steak and chocolate chip cookie. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys a round or two of golf; although admittedly not very good at the game itself.
Linwood Mosley – Program Specialist
Program Specialist Linwood Mosley has worked in various programs for MASCEC since 2014. He currently runs the Woodbury Fresh for All food giveaway program once a week, and works with clients in several other programs such as WorkPlus and JOBS.
Previous to his arrival at MASCEC, Mr. Mosley was a job readiness instructor for The Kintock Group Residential Halfway House, was Youth Program Director teaching juvenile life skills at Shiloh Community Development Corp., and Childcare Program Director at the Tri-County Community Action Program. He also served as Program Director for American Friends Service Committee/Bridgeton Youth Program.
Mr. Mosley enjoys working with MASCEC because it allows him to stay involved with the community in a one-on-one capacity.
“I have always worked, in some capacity, in the community service field,” he said. “I have been able to grow and continue to use many of the skills that I have developed from past experiences.”
Mr. Mosley has worked in many phases of MASCEC’s programming including management, fiscal accountability, group instruction, building and nurturing relationships with other organizations/programs in our community.
Robin Buoncuore – ACRO Program Director
Program Director Robin Buoncuore coordinates the Academic Career Reentry Opportunity (ACRO) Program at Salem County Correctional Facility. Through the ACRO program, incarcerated individuals can learn the skills they need to reenter the workforce upon release.
Prior to her arrival at MASCEC, Mrs. Buoncuore served as Social Editor for the Today’s Sunbeam newspaper for 15 years.
She was initially hired as an instructor for the WorkPlus/Fast Track programs before taking on ACRO five years ago.
Mrs. Buoncuore is also certified to administer National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe training for both food handlers and management. ServSafe certification is required to work in the food service industry by law in New Jersey.
“Working at the Correctional Facility is actually a very enjoyable experience,” she said. “Through MASCEC, I have the opportunity to hopefully make a difference in the lives of people who participate in the program.”
Outside of MASCEC, Mrs. Buoncuore founded Maddie & Friends – a 501c3 non-profit in 2008. Maddie & Friends finds suitable homes for cats and kittens, and holds monthly low-cost spay/neuter clinics locally.
Priscilla Gardner – Director – JOBS Grant
Assistant Director Priscilla Gardner helps implement the programs and activities surrounding the Pathways to Recovery initiative which helps those who have been affected by opioids reenter the workforce.
Ms. Gardner is a graduate of William Paterson College and holds a Bachelor Degree in Communication.
Before coming to MASCEC, Ms. Gardner served as Income Maintenance Specialist for the Camden County Board of Social Services. She also worked as a Camden County Child Support Investigator, was Senior Parole Officer for the State of New Jersey, and retired as Sergeant.
Ms. Gardner came to MASCEC because the “Christ in her will always lead her in the director of providing service to others,” she said.
“If I can help another in any capacity, I will without hesitation,” said Ms. Gardner. “Working for Mid-Atlantic allows me to do exactly that.”
In her spare time, she is a crafter and makes jewelry and much of her own clothing.
Lindsay West – Program Specialist
Program Specialist Lindsay West works with the ACRO (Academic Career Reentry Opportunity) and NJ LEAD (Locally Empowered Accountable and Determined) programs on location at the Salem County Correctional Facility.
There she helps currently and formerly incarcerated individuals find employment by building their resume, teaching interviewing tips and discussing career goals.
Mrs. West earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management at Wilmington University. Before coming to MASCEC, she worked at Infra Source in Media, Pa., and Alberts Organics in Logan Township.
In her spare time, Mrs. West enjoys family vacations at her family’s home in New Hampshire and coaching youth basketball. Throughout high school and at Wilmington University, she was a member of the Women’s Basketball teams. Coaching local youth keeps her involved in the sport and is very rewarding.
Dylan Goldsborough – Food Specialist & Construction/Maintenance Specialist
Mr. Goldsborough works daily unloading trucks filled with food for the Pennsville Food Pantry, organizing pallets of food, and distributing food during drive-through food giveaway events.
He said he enjoys his job because he likes helping people.
“It’s exhausting, but rewarding,” said Mr. Goldsborough.
In his spare time, he likes to play video games and watch movies.

Richelle Sweeney – Food Pantry Specialist
Ms. Sweeney works daily packing boxes full of food to deliver to those in need, helping organize the food pantry, and distributing food during the Pennsville Food Pantry food giveaway five days a week.
She said she is happy to be working at MASCEC because she enjoys helping people and her work keeps her mind busy and focused.
When she is not at MASCEC, Ms. Sweeney enjoys reading books, listening to music, and spending time with her Bassett Hound mix.

Tamu Lewis – Administrative Assistant/Program Specialist/Campus Support
As Administrative Assistant, Ms. Lewis keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine.
Her duties include billings to different programs and assisting with all in-office daily procedures.
Ms. Lewis graduated from Salem High School and attended Salem Community College. She worked as an assistant for 30 years prior to coming to MASCEC.
“I love helping people,” said Ms. Lewis about why she chose to come to MASCEC.
In her spare time, Ms. Lewis enjoys singing.
Laraine Rathof – Program Specialist/Nutrition Coordinator
As Nutrition Coordinator, Laraine Rathof contacts each Senior client every weekend to check on their well-being. She assures each client can get to MASCEC’s Congregate Nutrition dinners every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening.
“I love and care for my Seniors,” she said.
Prior to coming to MASCEC, Ms. Rathof was a cook at the DRBA for 10 years, and previously cooked for two different school systems.
Ms. Rathof began cooking at home when she was 12 and later took several cooking classes. She enjoys canning, cooking and especially baking.
Michele Truax – MASCEC Board President
As MASCEC Board President, Mrs. Truax meets with the MASCEC Board to discuss all matters pertaining to the company.
Prior to joining MASCEC, she worked as an Operations Assistant at Glassboro Public Schools for seven years, and a high school Guidance Department Assistant for nine years.
She also has experience as Assistant to Operations Building, Grounds and Transportation, and in accounting for all accounts payables and receivables.
Mrs. Truax has extensive experience in the educational field including assisting students with their college preparations and high school academics.
Her mission at MASCEC is to “help others achieve their goals.”
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and their new puppy.
Ashley Williams – PEPP Program Specialist for Burlington and Mercer Counties
As Program Specialist, Ms. Williams provides career and job skill development to those previously incarcerated in order to help them obtain full-time employment. She has connections to a network of employers. These connections help her assist those reentering the workforce gain employment.
Ms. Williams has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and said she loves being able to bridge those formerly incarcerated to employment.
“I truly believe everyone deserves a second chance,” she said. “Every day I get the chance to help someone start over. There is a joy when someone thanks me for helping them get that chance.”
Ms. Williams enjoys baking and caters small events with decorated desserts.
Christopher Wilson – Program Specialist
Mr. Wilson is a MASCEC Program Specialist with the Parolee Employment Placement Program (PEPP).
In this position, Mr. Wilson helps formerly incarcerated individuals obtain and maintain gainful employment through course instruction, resume creation and job placement.
Mr. Wilson graduated from Rutgers University NCAS with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He served in law enforcement for nearly 30 years as an Essex County Probation Officer, a Federal Probation Officer, and retired in 2009 as a Sr. Parole Officer with the New Jersey State Parole Board.
When he had an active caseload of parolees, Mr. Wilson placed a great deal of emphasis in finding work for those under his supervision.
“It seemed to me that there was a discernable reduction in the recidivism rate for ex-offenders who had decent jobs as opposed to those who did not,” he said. “PEPP allows me to continue doing this kind of work with a population of which I am very familiar in a geographical area I know quite well from my previous career.”
In his spare time, Mr. Wilson is a musician and currently plays with three bands. He enjoys reading, watching old horror and noire films, as well as other great classic movies. He appreciates a good cigar and single malt Scotch, and treasures family time. He and his wife enjoy traveling, learning different cultures, and trying new cuisine.
Marcus R. Wilson – Program Specialist
Mr. Wilson has been with MASCEC for two years. During that time, he has determined grant eligibility for prospective participants, administered pre-requisite testing to participants, and served as the program’s liaison for program participants and Atlantic Cape.
Mr. Wilson provides coaching and support for participants’ success, works with participants to develop personalized training employment plans (IEPs), and regularly communicates with participants and updates IEPs throughout training.
He works as the reemployment liaison between participants and employers to match open job opportunities to the participants in the plan, monitors workforce trends, and develops and maintains employer relationships.
Prior to MASCEC, Mr. Wilson worked with the Department of Labor and Workforce Development helping the population of people that are chronically unemployed and underemployed.
“For the past six years, I’ve built relationships with employers and other resources for the people,” he said. “I love helping people increase their quality in life and help grow people; increasing their quality of life for the better.”
Mr. Wilson enjoys sports and spending time with his family.
Robert Wells – PEPP Specialist for Camden and Gloucester Counties
Mr. Wells provides career and job skill development to those previously incarcerated in order to help them obtain full-time employment.
As a military retiree, Mr. Wells has worked with many different people from a variety of different places and backgrounds, and sometimes in very difficult circumstances. He also taught at a charter school in Kensington for six years.
“I worked with many kinds who were heading to the kind of life that most PEPP clients have lived,” he said. “I’m familiar with the profile of people living at the edge and looking to find a better life.”
Mr. Wells is currently an adjunct professor at Camden, Gloucester and Atlantic county colleges. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Brown University and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
In his youth, Mr. Wells was very athletic playing rugby football into his mid-30s. After retiring from the Army, he began playing baseball again, this time for an “old boys” team.
Robin Buoncuore – ACRO Program Director
