MID-ATLANTIC STATES CAREER AND EDUCATION CENTER plans second trip to Cornell University For Gateway High School Students
Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center and Cornell University are pleased to offer Gateway High School students ages 15 to 17 the opportunity to visit the Ithaca, New York campus as part of the school’s Entrepreneurship Program.
Gateway Regional High School in Woodbury recently became the first high school in New Jersey designated as part of the EntreEd’s America’s Entrepreneurial School Initiative, due in part to collaborative efforts with Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center.

The Salem County Office on Aging and Disabilities in the Department of Health and Human Services launched a pilot program this holiday season to deliver boxes of non-perishable food to residents who need help stretching their end-of-month budgets.
Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center has now been approved to operate a private career school in New Jersey. We will be providing instruction in all approved post-secondary programs offered at the facility.
Leona celebrated her accomplishment in front of her family and friends at a graduation ceremony on Aug. 1 2017 at the Elmer Grange Hall in Upper Pittsgrove Township.
The new location gives the center a larger space, that was 800-square feet building to now 5,800-square feet. The center will now offer several certification programs that meet job requirements in the region, including forklift training and Microsoft Office software training.
The Salem County Office on Aging and Disabilities is partnering with the Mid Atlantic States Career & Education Center to host the holiday events on Dec. 7 and Dec. 14 at Queen of Apostles Church, 391 South Broadway in Pennsville.
To explore the importance of nutrition, this summer, students visited the Salem City Community Garden for a first-hand look at the journey food takes from farm to table. Garden Co-Founder Britney Lillya explained to the children how the garden grew from planting seeds, watering daily and harvesting crops.
Along with waiving that transportation fee for medical visits, it will now cost seniors absolutely nothing to stop by the nutrition center in Pittsgrove to get a healthy meal. The center, which is managed by the Mid-Atlantic States Career & Education Center, acts also as a social hub where seniors can interact with others.
“Lifting Futures” offers the most complete forklift training program in the area, lead by certified instructors.
