Through the efforts of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and donation partners Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Centers weekly food giveaway in Pennsville included handing out 650 turkeys and all the fixings to needy families in Salem County. In addition, Turkey Breasts and fixings are being delivered to disabled veterans in 7 Counties in southern New Jersey.
Thanksgiving is a time when families gather around a table to give thanks and share food. Unfortunately the need for food is a daily year round struggle for many families throughout the region. Mid-Atlantic States Career and Education Center has embraced the food insecurity problem and hands out food on a daily basis to those in need. Disabled Vets and Seniors receive food deliveries year round.
